Lhok Keutapang Raya Beautiful Beach in Peukan Bada

Lhok Keutapang Raya Beautiful Beach in Peukan Bada –BANDA ACEH  – Lhok Keutapang Raya is located at the tip of Sumatra Island, facing Bunta Island and Batee Island. The beach sand in this area is yellowish white, while the sea water is turquoise green.

To reach this beach area, we have to take the Masjid Raya route towards Ulee Lheue via Jalan Sultan Iskandar Muda. Once at the Ulee Lheue Mosque roundabout, then turn left towards Ujong Pancu Peukan Bada. Later, there will be a location for us to park our motorbikes a few dozen meters from the very end of Ujong Pancu.

Well, from here visitors have to walk, along a path with a path up and down the hills. Around the road is also covered with dense trees typical of mountainous areas.

It takes extra energy to reach the hidden beach area located in Peukan Bada District. However, once there, the tiredness will be paid off by the beautiful charm of the beach and the expanse of the savanna.

“The route to Lhok Keutapang Raya takes approximately two hours. The route is more extreme and further when compared to Lhok Mata Ie Beach or Lhok Keutapang Cut Beach which are also in the Ujong Pancu area, Peukan Bada,” said Septian, a resident of Punge Blang Cut, who often fishes in the area.

The three beaches are often visited by anglers and also travelers to camp on weekends. However, to get here, visitors must provide sufficient supplies such as tents, drinking water, food rations, and other necessities including a first aid kit because the path is quite difficult to pass.

“This area is not for family tourism because the journey there is really tiring, even though the scenery there is very beautiful and good for photos,” he said
